Our Northwood Park Independent Living Units are located at 51-53 Stead Street Sale, a 5-minute walk from Ashleigh House and The Manor.
Northwood Park Units
Construction on Northwood Park commenced in the 1980’s and it now consists of 8 x 1 bedroom units, 16 x 2 bedroom units and 12 x 3 bedroom units.
As units become available they are available on a lump sum ten-year contract or a shorter-term rental option.
Residents have no maintenance worries. Our experienced staff taking care of the grounds and buildings. This way, our residents can concentrate on making the most of their pleasure time, rather than routine upkeep and heavy lifting.
Meals on Wheels for the independent living units are available direct from the kitchen at Ashleigh House, residents of Northwood and Eastwood Parks are also able to attend regular activities at Ashleigh House.
Accommodation Options and Facility Fees
Northwood Park includes:
- 8 x one bedroom units, priced at $65,000 each, on a ten-year contract
- 16 x two bedroom units priced at $150,000 each, on a ten-year contract
- 12 x three bedroom units priced at $225,000 each, on a ten-year contract
For each unit within Northwood Park, the monthly fee is $454.30. This one charge covers all maintenance requirements, as well as building insurance, water rates and Council rates. The only other outlay for residents is their gas, electricity, telephone and general living expenses.

Village Facilities
The Ashleigh House Activities Room is available for all Village residents to use. The room is currently used for playing carpet bowls, holding events, entertainment and meetings. Bookings can be made through Ashleigh House reception.
Application Process
Our units are very popular and there is generally a waiting list. If you are interested in moving into our Independent Living Units in the future, we strongly recommend completing an Application Form to express your interest and join our waiting list.
