Couples enjoying their time at Ashleigh House

May 14, 2019

Couples enjoy their time at Ashleigh House (May 2019)

Three couples are currently enjoying their residence at Ashleigh House.  Hazel and Alby Dorning have been living at Ashleigh House since 2017 and 2018 respectively. They previously lived happily in the adjoining retirement units at Northwood Park for twenty years.

Margaret Coleman came into the facility in 2018, followed by her husband Ron earlier this year.   Margaret is enjoying improved health since her move to Ashleigh House and said that ‘’all of the staff are fantastic, from the care staff, to the kitchen”.

Jack and Pat Marsden moved into the facility from Eastwood Park only a few months ago and are settling in well.  Jack said that the best thing he found was the ‘’kindness of all of the staff’’ in caring for him and Pat is ‘’enjoying the care and company of others”.

All three couples are very complimentary of the care and support they receive at Ashleigh House. They are enjoying participation in various activities and social interaction with other residents.  CEO Michelle Dowsett stated that “it is so lovely to have couples sharing their time with us and enjoying everything our home has to offer in meeting individual needs”.
